The Story Behind the Mount

TrailMounts started with a simple problem: a friend with a new Jeep Wrangler could not find a phone mount that actually fit the updated dash. I designed one that installs cleanly, holds securely, and looks like it belongs there.

Introducing the TrailMounts friction-fit phone holder — a custom-engineered mount designed exclusively for the 2024, 2025, and 2026 Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator with the updated infotainment screen. If you struggled to find a mount that fits this dash, you were not the only one.

I designed this mount after a friend searched everywhere for a solution and found nothing that worked well. The final design slides in beside the infotainment screen, holds your phone securely, and adds MagSafe charging for a clean, modern setup.

I use this mount every day — even for Teams calls, where the camera stays centered naturally on your face. It is stable, convenient, and always exactly where you need it.

Material

Made for Jeep heat

This mount is 3D printed using ASA, an engineering-grade material chosen for strength, UV resistance, and high-temperature performance inside a Jeep cabin. Cheaper materials such as PLA or PETG can warp or deform on hot days, especially in direct sunlight.

TrailMounts is designed specifically to avoid those failures. The goal is a mount that stays rigid, secure, and reliable through daily driving, heat, and trail use.

I continually source the highest-quality MagSafe chargers and USB-C power adapters I can find. Because I regularly upgrade components, the electronics you receive may look slightly different from the photos, but they will meet or exceed the same performance and safety standards.

Please do not use or look at your phone while driving. Always operate your vehicle responsibly.

On very hot days, a phone can heat up during long Teams calls while charging. The simple workaround is to unplug the charger during the call and plug it back in afterward.

If your phone does not stick well to the magnet, the issue is usually case compatibility. A MagSafe case that lets the phone sit flat against the charger works best.

Jeeps with especially rough rides, lift kits, or suspension modifications may occasionally cause a phone to decouple from the charger. I am actively working with my supplier to improve magnet strength as TrailMounts continues to grow.
